Makeup haul

Hello people of the internet!

A few days back I did some makeup shopping because I ran out of a couple of products and I also wanted to try some new ones. Some of them were recommended to me by friends or I have seen them on beauty blogs or Youtube.

Firstly I stopped at Lush where I bought a face peeling Dark Angels. It is supposed to mattify your skin and remove blackheads. It is recommended to people with oily skin. For all of you who have very problematic skin, the guy in the store recommends Herbalism.

Then I went to DM where they had discounts on various products, so I took advantage of them I got some products. First, I got 2 Essie nail polishes which are my favourite. They are in the shade Lapiz of luxury and Sand Tropez. Then I got two L'Oreal mascaras. Actually I bought the pink one, the yellow one was given to me as a gift, but I don't like the brush. It's called Miss Manga Punky and it makes your lashes pointy and it glues them together which I don't like. So, when I'll run out of Miss Manga, I'll just switch the brushes and use Miss Manga Punky aswell. And lastly, I bought 2 L'Oreal micellar waters. I was planning on getting just one, but there was a 'buy one get one free' discount, so I got 2.

At the end I went to Müller and got a pair of tweezers, because I lost my other pair, some little makeup wipes for my locker, 2 little hand sanitizers, mini sheer lipbalm in the shade I am charming and a cream concealer, which was recommended to me. All of the products are from Essence. I also got some nail stickers and Minion tissues. :)

I am really excited to try these products. I didn't get a lot of things, but I shared them with you anyway, if you're interested.

18 facts for my 18th birthday!

Hello everyone!

As you probably may not know, today is my birthday and I turned 18 and for this occasion, I decided I would pick 18 random facts about me and share them with you. I realised I haven't really told anything about me, so I think, this is the perfect time to do this post.

1. My name is Anja.

2. I come from Slovenia.

3. I speak Slovenian, English, a little German and I'm learning Latin (in school and I hate it) and Norwegian (in my free time). 

4. My favourite school subjects are chemistry and German.

5. I am OBSESSED with Pretty Little Liars and The Big Bang Theory.

6. I could watch Youtube videos all day long and not get bored. My favourite youtubers are Zoe Sugg, Joe Sugg, Caspar Lee, Alfie Deyes and a few others. I know, I have no life. :)

7. My favourite food is any kind of pasta with cheese on top. I just love everything with cheese.

8. I would LOVE to go to Norway, Iceland and USA.

9. When I'm older, I want to be a doctor, but my dream job is to travel around the world and have a TV show about it.

10. I'm a dog person, although I don't like bigger dogs. They freak me out.

11. I don't have any pets at the moment, but when I was younger we had fish, a dog and a bird.

12. I don't like vegetables.

13. Makeup product I could never live without is a lipbalm. Or a mascara.

14. My favourite colour is purple.

15. My favourite music genres are rap and house. But still, Taylor Swift rocks :)

16. In winter I love to snowboard.

17. My favourite holiday is Christmas.

My perfume collection

Hello there!

Long time no see, right?

A few days back I was searching for ideas for my blog and I thought I would show you my perfume collection. I may have a lot of perfumes, but from time to time I still buy a new one. I know it's crazy, but when you see a perfume in a shop that looks and smells amazing, you just need to have it, alright. :) But, when I do buy new fragrances, they are mostly around 15ml. I very rarely buy a full-sized one. I prefer having more smaller perfumes to having less full-sized ones. So let's get into it.

This first one is my absolute favourite and it is My NY from DKNY. I personally think, it smells the best out of every perfume I own and it's very versatile. You can wear it as a daytime or a nighttime scent. I have a 15 ml bottle, and when I was in Germany, I bought another one in a rollerball form. These rollerballs are very convenient to throw in your bag, but are really hard to find.

These came in a set of 3 and are from DKNY Be Delicious set. The green one is DKNY Be Delicious, the pink one is DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom and the gold one is DKNY Golden Delicious. What I like about these, is that scents are not similar. The first two are more fresh, daytime scents while the gold one is more of a warm, nighttime scent. I remember I've always wanted the green one, but when I saw them in a set I was like I need to get them. I don't know if the set is avaiable in stores, I got mine in a duty-free store at the airport. They are all 15 ml.

And just last week I found the green one in a rollerball form.

The next ones are from L'occitane and I got them in those small sets that are sold in small cosmetic bags. Basically, almost everytime they have a new collection, they would sell these sets and if there is a new fragrance in this collection, they would put a sample in a set. So, the first one is from collection Arlesienne and it has a very floraly scent. The second one is from a collection Verbena and it smells exactly like a lemon. And the last one is from a collection Cherry Blossom and it has a very light smell of spring flowers, if that makes sense.

This perfume is Tommy Hilfiger Tommy Girl in a 15 ml bottle. It has a very fresh scent, and what I like about this one is that it doesn't have a floraly scent, but it's more of a clean scent (I am terrible at describing scents), more grown up scent. Okay, that made absolutely no sense. :)

Then, I have the newest (I think) fragrance from queen Taylor Swift and it's called Incredible Things. All of you, who know her song Blank Space will know: Nice to meet you, where you been, I could show you incredible things... This is in a 30 ml bottle and it is a very warm scent, it kind of reminds me of winter, I really have no idea why.

This is Christina Aguilera's first fragrance and I don't know what it is called. Christina Aguilera maybe? Everytime I smell it, my mind goes to a black and white movie, imagining a rich woman in a black dress and pearls. I'm weird, I know. But seriously, it smells really nice and it's more of a nighttime scent, I would say.

And now, some good old Justin Bieber :) This is his first fragrance Someday and it is a very girly, light daytime scent.

The second one is his second perfume Girlfriend which has more stronger scent and really like it.

The last perfume in my collection in another fragrance from Justin Bieber and this is The Key and it is the only one of his perfumes I don't have in a full size. I love it so much it has become one of my most worn perfumes and I think you could wear it as daytime or nighttime scent

What's in my bag

Hello lovelies!

Since I love watching YouTube videos, especially those, where people show what they carry in their bags, I decided I would do a post on what I carry in my bag on a daily basis.

So the bag I'm currenty using is this one.

And in here I keep:

- a wallet
- keys
- tissues
- wet wipes
- chewing gum
- a pen an a notebook (if I want to write something)
- cosmetic/emergency bag

You're probably wondering, what's in my cosmetic bag, so here's what's inside:

- hand sanitizer
- 2 lip balms
- hand cream
- body cream
- tinted lip balm
- solid perfume
- 5 small perfumes

So that's everything that I keep in my bag every day. Sometimes I'll just add some more things.

Products I've used up

Hello lovelies!

My apology for a long absence, I had to do a lot of schoolwork, then I was also sick for 2 weeks, it's been really busy.

So today I'm doing a review about some products I've used up. I've been saving the containers for a while, so I think it is time for a review.

Cottage Shower Gel Grapefruit 

This thing is amazing. It smells like grapefruit obviously, leaves your skin soft and deliciously scented. 

Yves Rocher Shower Gel Pomegranate

If you want to smell like tropical heaven, it's a must have for your shower. Yves Rocher shower gels are amazing in general. I was in their store I think 2 weeks ago and I smelled all of their shower stuff and all of them were to die for. In my opinion, they are one of the best smelling shower gels I've ever used. I strongly recommend.

Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Hair Shampoo

I remember seeing a commercial for this shampoo and I was like: 'Wow, it's Claudia Schiffer, I love her. I need to try this.' So I went to the local store and bought one. Luckily, my mum had some coupons, so I got it 50% off. When I opened it, I thought I smelled pearls. And when you wash your hair with it, it leaves them soft and beautiful. But I don't know if it's just me, but I hadn't really seen the difference after I have used it, since it was for damaged hair.

Nivea Visage Stay Clear Purifying Toner

That is a normal toner, it really mattifies your skin, which comes really handy, if you have oily skin like me. The only thing bothering me was, it didn't help clean my skin from blackheads, which was supposed to do.

Nivea Anti-perspirant Powder Touch

I love the smell of this, it's so soft and well... it smells like baby powder. And it dries quickly.  But sometimes it will leave a white powder under your arms, so you have to dust it off, otherwise it will leave a white stain on your shirt, which, believe me, you don't want to get.

Nivea Creme Peeling

I don't really use peelings, but that one time I needed to. I got sunburned and my dry skin started to peel off and I needed it to come off completely so I was using this peeling and it did help and as a plus, my skin became really soft and smooth. And it smells nice.

Schwarzkopf Gliss Million Gloss Shampoo

This shampoo is for everyone with dull hair, at least it says. I don't really have dull hair, but I've used it anyways. I haven't really seen any difference with my hair, but let me just tell you how wonderful this stuff smells. And I like the packaging too. :)

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year lovelies!

It's amazing how fast 2015 has come. 2014 was an incredible journey for me and for you. In this year I wish you a lot of happiness, love, health and I hope it'll be even better than 2014.

As previous years I made some New Year resolutions, some of them are new, some of them are the same.

This year I decided to accept The 50 Book Challenge (recommended by my friends), complete some goals from my bucket list, try not to eat Nutella for the whole year (this year I almost succeded, 11 times I failed), be physically active and I want to organize a trip during my summer break.

I'm sure this'll be an amazing year :)
